The natural life cycle compared to the healing cycle

Jan 08, 2022

Everything in life has a similar cycle: it rises, crests, and falls.

Unless of course we get stuck, freak out, rattled, stall out.

Since it's happened to me way too many times I've had a front row seat...

....and learned a few things along the way.

Yes, there is that native bell curve where things are always in movement, even if we can't see the movement.  Click the image below to watch my 50-second video...

Everything changes, even when we aren't always aware of it.

And then, there's the transformational bell curve.... it's just inverted.
Click the image below to watch my two-minute video on that bell curve.

Of course, when we're going down, we do NOT feel it's a curve, it feels like a crash and burn, a complete catastrophe, or perhaps claustrophobic and shadow-bound.

At the bottom of the curve we're thrown into hijacked states that seem impenetrable to all the skills we've learned.  We can't seem to shift...and end up feeling hopeless.

Like Suzanne wrote, "I want to take the Fool's hand and jump off the cliff and trust all will be well but instead...I stay stuck with a million reasons why I don't."

What is it that stops us in our tracks?

Is there a way to deal with our patterns of fears, blocks, and resistances while also moving forward, letting our light shine, connected inside and out?

Yes.

That's the short answer. The long answer is a bit more involved.

At the bottom of the transformational cycle we're forced to access something inside ourselves.

But... in those (sometimes seemingly endless) moments, we don't know how on earth being in this muck will help us transform.
